To Be A Cat Instead

He walked into the cooler and looked over at the existing chaos, which once was an organized scene the previous day. “I feel like my life is Groundhog's Day, on constant repeat, but we've already gotten it right. It just didn't matter because it was fate pulling the strings from a past life where I apparently made someone else's hell, and now I'm paying for it.”


He closed his eyes and found himself lying on the floor, but something peculiar, he was furry and striped. Had he turned into a cat? “I’m trapped inside a cat. Was I just done being human? I didn’t think it was that bad. But apparently it was?” he thought to himself.


"Who let the cat in?! Hey buddy. Where's Thomas?" the bossman said out loud.


“I guess I’m free. The only thing I have to worry about now is just catching mice, sleeping, and eating food… or so I thought.”
